Mrs. Compo (aka Nora) is looking for a lift up to Kettlewell for the navigation course next weekend from the Holmfirth / Huddersfield area if anyone is passing that way.
She can't be relied upon to navigate - hence going on this course, but is ion all other respects a very reasonable passenger.
I have a new bike
If you haven't sorted out a lift yet I could divert to pick you up on Friday early afternoon. I'm coming up from Essex & picking up someone at Retford at lunchtime. Huddersfield / Holmfirth isn't the route I'd have chosen, but I've made worse route choices. cheers, John
gk4 - Thanks for the offer of a lift but Holmfirth is quite way off your route and you've got a long enough drive as it is. Nora has decided to drive herself - she was just wondering if anyone was passing through Holmfirth en route.
That's why I didn't offer straight away, hoping that another lift would come along. Probably just as well, with 2 instructors we'd probably never have found you
