    The Apprentice (new series)

Anyone watch the bunch of tits on last nights episode?

Part of me thinks they must deliberately pick a bunch of twats but surely Sugar wouldn't want to knowingly give a twat a job. But then, does the winner EVER actually take the job and stay in it beyond 6 months????
    Hmmmm

The guy that won a couple of series ago is still there (the one who put together the trampoline on QVC with one of the legs looking like a winkle - Simon?).

Initially, I get the impression that they are urged to come out with the "In business it's all about winning", "I'm the best salesperson, ever. No question" crap by the producers. The early stages always look a bit amateur to me. That said, there are only a handful of people I'd look to employ from all the series, and not necessarily as senior as they'd want to be.

There's no doubt that they're wound up to perform for their pieces to camera.....no doubt at all....it's all part of the audition process no doubt, but it's amazing how consistently cringeworthy tv can be addictive.

    Re: The Apprentice (new series

I am also watching latest series of American Celebrity Apprentice and as usual don't know most of them apart from Joan Rivers. Episode 3 saw two of the men's team out on the razz with a Russian call girl and the next morning one was late in very hung over (Project Manager!) and the other didn't turn in at all

Now thats more like it !

The show's great TV - very addictive.

But if this is the cream of GB management then is it any wonder that we are a basket case?

Anita who went this week -
She says: "My CV is strong. I am articulate. I can deal with questions and make impactful statements. Many lawyers can't. People want to chat with me."

    Good riddance as well.

The bit at the end where they turn on each other to avoid getting fired is the best bit. They alternate between stabbing each other in the back and arse licking up to Sugar by seeing how many times they can call him 'Sir Alan'

Articulate? Is that why you resort to a typical management-speak bastardisation of the English language?

If they come up against some serious showstopping issues, they might have to do a bit of solutionisation to hit the benchmark and get back to BAU.
