    rossendale train tuesday's and thursday's at 7 pm from marl pits.
    They cater for a variety of abilities.

    Indeed they do- soup for the OAPS,dairy products for the young un's, a range of cooked meats for adults, and there's also a vegetarian option

    You seem to know quite a bit - that's not the track you turned up at is it?

    It would be good fell training on that 400m circuit

    Can't think of anything to say in defense of our track...............................story goes when workmen where digging the drains they came across horse bones from when the Roundheads camped there on the way to the battle of Preston in the civil war.
    We were supposed to be getting a new track, but it's all gone pear shaped.

    I did train on it during 1975 - 6 and raced a few schools soprts days on it in the 70s and early 80's.

    I hope Rossy get the track the deserve and soon - it's a travesty when you consider that the local MP's mileage allowance for the last term in parliament could well have provided a new track
