    Gtr Manchester females wanted

The 2009 inter-counties championship race is Hutton Roof Crags near Kirkby Lonsdale on 23 May 09 (7 miles 1300 feet).

Females are wanted to run for the Greater Manchester team – if you were born in Gtr Mcr or live there now you’re eligible.

Greater Manchester has had some excellent female teams out in past years, with athletes like Sally Newman, Jayne Spark, Anne Powell and Jessica Turnbull helping to achieve gold (1998, 1999), silver (2000) and bronze (2005, 2006) medals.

If you fancy it send me a private message.

    Thanks, Anna.

Greater Manchester Mens team is nearly sorted out. Anyone else out there want to be considered for the mens team? The team is looking for its fourth straight win in this event.

Don't suppose your missus would fancy it? (Think I know the answer to that one)

Is Rachel Thompson not running now? She used to go to my kid's school and I remember her as a top junior fell runner. She must be in her early 20's.
    She was GM I think.

So far- John Brown, Nick Leigh and Darren Kay. All more than worthy of their place on the team looking at recent performances and races.
Who are you and what races you ran recently?

Are you not selecting yourself Andi? I think you're well worthy of a slot.
