It doesn't clash with the Skyline .

This used to be a road and fell relay but became a straight fell race a few years ago. The course may have changed since I last ran it in 2004 but then it was basically out of the back of the cricket club, round the edge of the golf course, south and then south west to join the Pennine Way just beyond Black Moss Res, north west along the PW for a bit and then north to cross the road and up Pule Hill, a flagged loop round the back of the hill to the road junction at 038101 then back round the golf course to the cricket club.

    Can anyone rename this thread?

I'm planning to be at the Ian Roberts race - a nice gentle one before the Skyline a week later.

    Ian Roberts Fell Race 9/3

I was going to do this race tomorrow, looking on the Holmfirth Harriers website it says the course will be marked but you should be able to navigate.

Just wondering if I really need a map and if anyone knows what the route is.

    Thanks
    Mark
