Its that NEW vest you have. CV runners always have that bit of extra balance and some even have extra ballast

I won't tell you what size of vest. But the rest of CV must be skinny buggers!
Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.

Glad to hear that most of the runners enjoyed the new course - made it more of a true "fell" race.

I have a wallet which was found outside - so if you've lost one please get in touch (01484 689032). Also a pair of glasses were left behind at the cricket club - you'll need to contact the club (I can provide contact details if needed).

Apologies to Helen Lambert (CVFR) who was the rightful winner of the LV40 prize. You should find a prize making its way towards you at some point - something to look forward to...

Hope everyone enjoyed the race, and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

    Enjoyed that today
Many Thanks to TomB, marshals & Holmfirth Harriers
Good to see Fleeter (fantastic result) and TurboTom (who definitely needs to stick to the running rather than take up pool)
practically everybody I spoke to seemed to have turned an ankle/knee or fell on those luvverly tussocks, but enjoyed the challenge nonetheless

surprised more folks from "over the watershed" weren't there: one Pennine, one Stockport, couple of Rossendale, a Salford, a Saddleworth... and me! - guess most attended Wolf's Pit, but I fancied a change of scenery and was pleased I did so

    I even had a half-decent run
