Hats off to Holmfirth 'arriers for this 1. A superbly marked course, loadsa butties/tea/cake at the finish and even a t-shirt and all for just £4. Just the sort of value you get at road races no doubt!! The course is on proper fells with lotsa turk's heads to tread on and all with magnificent views. Done this a few times now and it is so underrated. I also thought the new start was better....and not as hard on the lungs!

    Ian Roberts fell race

Any takers for this one? I'll be having a gentle trot out.

    SUN.MAR 8. IAN ROBERTS FELL RACE (R). BS. 11.00 a.m. 5.9m/900' from Marsden Cricket Club (GR 046106).

It's a H'firth Harriers champ counter so expect a multitude of gold vests...

Ran it two years ago when the leading pack went the wrong way! They soon turned around and steamed past the rest of us though...

Sure you can cadge a lift, can't you? Whereabouts are you?

PFR country. Keep going out on runs to find a car car that says £2.50 o.n.o

and don't even think of folding your number, the local sheep have been trained to attack on sight anyone with folded numbers and those running topless
