Just got the renewal notice. Should have been £130.
One visit to RAC site and then a phone call to cancel AA.
Outcome = still with AA and saved £33. Under a ton again
Maybe I should of changed but its all the hassle

I'm with the RAC, which I pay for in Tesco Clubcard vouchers - £34-worth of vouchers gets me/Lady Slugge their Joint Roadside/Recovery
We were with RAC for 5 years. Last year we questioned the price at renewal time, but they refused to match the Green Flag quote.
We changed, and then this year RAC sent us a ‘come back with a 20% discount’ offer
Frequent but moderate workouts on a consistent basis are the key to success
It pays to shop around - same with car insurance.
No reward for loyalty these days!!
Haggle EVERYTHING - they have this built into the price!
Got my last phone, really cheap contract, free handset... The minute you say "I've had a better offer" they come back with something cheaper, they are expecting it. Car insurance the same.
Got my broadband/line rental reduced last night by £15 per month total, just by ringing up to "cancel"
Hadn't thought of doing that with breakdown though, I am with the RAc at the mo' runs out in August
Direct line insurance (all sorts) is often significantly cheaper if you take out a new policy on-line instead of just ringing up and renewing the old one.
They seem to work on the basis that folk are lazy and will just renew, but they will give a good price for what appears to be new business.
Biriani for endurance, pathia for speed.
£173 quote for this year.
Paid £103
15 minute phone call saved us £70
Could I be a premiership haggler?
Agree with everything said but its funny how business insurance is different. The insurance broker for the company I work for always says that we should try and stay with the same insurance company for a few years or the companies in general will shy away. But for my personal motor insurance I end up changing nearly every year because the existing insurance company always bumps up the price and using the price comparison sites always results in big savings.
Pay £3.49 a month for breakdown insurance. Arranged via moneysupermarket with 'europ assistance'. Even includes courtesy car, transport to garage and contact with relatives if a problem. Thankfully never needed it but amazed at the quote and hence happy to pay it. Car is 4x4!!
