That would be the one! Enjoy all those who are running - should be up there next weekend, conveniently a week late so don't have to drag myself round!

The website link is pretty uesless to the festiniog site (thread is useful tho) - thanks for posting the link
Does anyone have a map of the route? Whilst I'm always conscious of the need to to be able to navigate and be self sufficient, it's always handy knowing whether of not the course is well marshalled/marked etc - any tips?
If it's a proper navigation job then i'll start study the map in earnest....
Cheers

Thanks for the map link, see you there
Consider yourself lightly; consider the world deeply.
Last year it was very well marshalled. There's really only a few areas which may need some nav work, the first leaving the quarry to Moelwyn mawr, but basically it's more geting the right line than anything else, because anything upwards will bring you to the summit, the descent down the rocky ridge is easy to locate, the hardest part would be finding the descent gully from Moelwyn Bach but again this was well marshalled last year so no problem.
The final descent from Moel yr Hydd is also a bit tricky, but basically just stay in the gully and avoid the rocky ground to the right.
Good race, only ~ 1:30 hrs but packs a lot into it. Nice community race too.
IainR, thanks for the advice/tips....

Awesome race today, great weather, about perfect conditions as the records falling indicated.
Tim Davies won, breaking McQueen's record, Rich Roberts and Lloyd Taggart joint second, Math Roberts 4th, Roland Stafford 5th, me 6th, Chris Near 7th.
In womens Jackie Lee won, breaking the record, the wife second, a girl from Bingley 3rd.
Best run I've had for a while, a hell of a battle with Roland and Chris for most of the route so not allowed to slack of for a second.
