You should have given the Woldsman a go last week, mostly flat, perfect weather, easy route, cps with good food every 5miles (cooked meal half way and at the finish) and not a race environment (well only a bit) - you wonder where 50 miles went!
Many thanks to you all for your advise. I don't think I will bother with the carb flush as the consensus seems to be that is not the done thing now, probably just an idea I read somewhere a few years ago.
Just done the 3 peaks race and legs are in bits! can hardly walk down stairs!
