Exclamation Paddy Buckley Support - Help !

    Hi there,

I am planning a fast round the Paddy Buckley in mid May (ideally 16th/17th weekend). I am really struggling to get runners available. I am hoping to have a crack at the record, if there is anyone out there who can help - please let me know ?

    Cheers

I may be able to, won't know for sure until Rob Woodhall's Merionydd Round on the 9th May as it could be delayed to that weekend.

What time are starting? I want to do Moel Eilio race so would need to try and fit that in.

    Cheers

Hi Iain - super fast response !

Plan at the moment is a 4am start from Capel Curig.

    5:00 for Saibod/Moelwyns
    3:00 for Hebog
    3:45 for Snowdon
    3:15 for Glyders
    2:45 for Carneddau

    finish before dark (hopefully)

    Cheers

there's another attempt on the PB on Friday-Sat same weekend for 2 Dark Peakers.

I don't think they are interested in a record though Tom.

Not me before any one asks

    Interesting to know Ian.

Do you know if they have too much support, if so I could nick some

Hi there Tom, that's quite a schedule you're aiming for - far too fast for me!

Do you need the services of advanced base camp for your attempt - if so I can check availability, and who knows, might even be up there to provide some road support if you're short..

    Hi Tom

Ordinarily I'd love to help, but with a troublesome baby at home and another one due shortly I'm out of action for a while I'm afraid. I've even had to forgo my annual attempt at the round.

I don't think so looking at his spread sheet. I know of a couple of runners who have had to drop out of his support already.

Good luck though. there's only a few runners who might be able to keep up with that pace anyway.
