I bought one of these last week - much smaller and lighter than I expected when it actually arrived. Plus it's dropped in price since last week!

sony NW-E003 range are excellent. the size of a flash drive/usb memory stick so lighter than.. I don't know, a lighter! available with fm radio and 1 or 2gb so hold more than enough music. For running probably need to get some different earphones that the ones they come with but thats the same for all of them. the new ipod suffle is a bit smaller but a lot more expensive and it just shuffles, doesn't play what you want

I got the 2gb Nano (with pink sleeve - obviously!)

really like it - does the job, sorry not sure about the shuffle. I do know that the shuffle doesn't fil into all the cocking systems so this may be worth considering?

as i previously stated on a similar thread got an i pod shuffle for christmas and extremely impressed.it is so light and comfortable that whilst out running i notice my key in my jacket pocket more! in built clip works v.well and holds i pod firmly in place. only slight downside i suppose would be memory but as i only use it for running the 240 songs it holds are more than enough and then if i do get bored just create another playlist which even for a technophobe is dead easy.

Do you mean i don't have to carry my valve radio in my rucksack anymore, always warm it up and take a spare car battery just in case.

Those with an I-pod, how do you find the arm-strap-thingy?

How does it cope with the sweat, mud and tears? Are they waterproof?
