    OCT - refreshments

Can anyone say what checkpoint refereshments usually consist of. A bacon sandwich would be nice.

    Tony

Wythburn is usually a selection of sarnies and slices of cake and a range of drinks.

Cockley Beck goes heavy on cake and flapjack I recall, and hot sweet tea.

Don't recall any bacon sarnies, and you'll be wanting to crack on from Wythburn, perhaps less so at CB when I heartily recommend the flapjack and tea.
The only one who can tell you "You can't" is you. And you don't have to listen.

Seem to remember a banana or two at Cockley Beck (and about 6 pieces of cake, of course).
