Same for the runner I was supporting who started at 7pm. I saw 2 groups on the road at the end not sure how they were doing time wise but they were still moving OK. The weather did improve later in the day I think the worst was just when people were at the highest point....
Still waiting to hear how clubmate Tim J got on - was starting at 6pm on Friday.
Did you have Helen and IanF supporting you?
The party they were supporting also called it at Wasdale.
I don't know how he got on MT but he (well some one from Leeds) rang on thursday asking for some support but I was already committed elsewhere.
Hope he made it.

just interested to know as we believe a 6pm set of, a couple of 6.30 a 6.40 and 7.00pm
a idea of june weather
Hi
I finished in 23:58 after starting at 18:38. I believe Dave Sykes from Tattenhall Runners finished in 21:50 - a great effort given the weather conditions. I was blown to a standstill on Lower man and had a few (well lots) of nav issues in the central fells due to snow, rain and high winds. I even did Allen Crags as a bonus peak ?!?
I heard another team that started at midnight had got round but I don't know who they were.

I was part of the other support team starting at midnight Friday
Jon Mayne completed in 22hrs and 3 mins.
As you say it was a 4 seasons in one day round. We had great fun and I personally enjoyed keeping Dave in my sights as I supported legs 3 and 4.
