    BG round - Broad Stand

Hi, does anyone know of any local climbers who might be prepared to fix a rope in support of my BGR due to commence on the evening of Saturday 11th July? Many thanks. Guy

Guy just take Lords Rake or Foxes. On the last 5 BG's i've been on as Either support or BGer we've had 25+ people completing and not one of those went via Broad Stand. It takes away any worry you have on whether they will be there or if some one is already on it when you get there.

    to put it in perspective
On the day it took me 23:30 via BS
On recce via Fox's Tarn I took 31 minutes - this was in soft slippy snow, going all the way to the bottom of the gill and not via the climber's trod, which I assume is quicker as it loses less height.
