Little Bo-Peep has lost her sheep
Centenary year for this lung-buster up the Tor from Helmshore ,Rossendale.Provisional date is the 13th July with races for all age cats. I'll fill in the details when they've bin fleshed out a bit more.
Its going to be the original classic route which hasnt been used for years, Dave Lewis has the record from way back when ? Full range of junior races
Registration from 6pm from Park Road Helmshore with the first race at 6.30. The course record is 8:14 held by Rossendale Harriers own Dave Lewis.........for anyone who has done this race in recent years the run to the bottom of Tor will be different,reverting back to the old route on which the record was set.
Entry fee is 3quid ,Race 1 8yr to 12yr........short course not including Tor. Race 2 U14yr - to u16yr to include lower slope of Tor. Race 3 seniors........full trip.

One of the oldest fell races still being run, over 100 years. Wens 11th July from Musbury fabrics works in helmshore.Will Dave Lewis's record be broken? Er.......no, but you can still have a go.
And so another year passes....and Tor Mile time comes around again. Wends 17th July...Helmshore.Reg from 6 first race ( junior ) 6.30. Seniors usually go bout 7ish.
