Does anyone know if the canisters in France are screw or pierce top? I want to take my pocket rocket for weight saving but am a bit unsure whether I will be able to get gas to fit it?? I don't want to have to take my 400g dragonfly stove!

From what I can remember, pierce top canisters are much more common (and a lot cheaper!) than screw-on + you can also get 'easy-clic' ones (sort of push and twist resealable) fairly easily. Markill do an adaptor that allows you to use pierce top ones with a screw fitting, but its not that lightweight. If you can find a hardware store rather than an outdoor shop, you may have more luck finding tall slender canisters designed for diy blow torches which have the same screw-on fitting, but I guess these would be too unstable for your stove.
