Coronation Street are filming a Road Race on Tuesday 30th of June at Trafford/Stretford Stadium 11:30am to 15:00. They're after up to 50 runners/joggers to take part in the 'race'.

If you're in the Manchester area and are free and want to get your mug/vest on TV then come along. I'm not 100% on the details but they are providing lunch and I think expenses as well. If you know anyone else that might be interested, feel free to spread the word.

There was a 10K race in an episode last week where some young plumpish Doris from the street was doing her 1st ever race after a few training trots up and down the cobbled back street. Showed her coming over the line in 44 minutes being chased down by several runners in fancy dress (donkeys/giraffes/bears, etc). Don't think they have quite got a handle on the timing thing yet.............
