In fact it wasn't too warm today - just about right with a gentle breeze and mainly cloudy with the odd shower.
Neil Richardson pulled out at Dunmail but one of his pacers, Paul Wood, decided to keep going and has just finished in about 23.15 hours.
We were overtaken at Steeple by a couple of groups from Bowland and Tadcaster going at some speed to make up lost time from legs 2 and 3.
We also met Dave Harrison going anticlockwise between Pillar and Black Crag
Mike Johnson - Bowland - battered his way round the BG..... in 17:50
