Makes the eyes water just reading about it. Mungrisdale to Greendale - the JNC for V70s?

Locations mentioned seem to resolve into Mungrisdale Blencathra Braithwaite Wandope NewlandsHause Robinson DaleHead Honister Brandreth Haycock CatBields GladeHow Buckbarrow Greendale.

    On Anquet roughly 35 mile / 14,000ft ...

Is there a more detailed route available? Or did I miss a thread from 3 weeks ago? (quite likely).

I hadn't seen anything else about this before, but a quick Google reveals these:
    Whitehaven News

Thanks Marvin. These add a few more peaks ... Skiddaw ... Gable ... (Pillar I'd already assumed) Exceedingly impressive.

FMA will be planning a repeat as we speak (if he's not already done it)

Shouldn't he be waiting a few years first

thank you bill - not quite reached 70 yet, although i'm feeling a bit like it just now.

I've a different linear route in mind to try out some time. transport will pose the biggest challenge for this. still working out some options.

Sorry John, my mistake . Thereagain, it'd probably count if you do the JN70 while injured / knackered

On reflection it will probably be a formal requirement to be >70 AND injured / knackered

Based on Mungrisdale SoutherFell Blencathra Skiddaw Braithwaite GrisedalePike Wandope Whiteless NewlandsHause Robinson DaleHead Honister Brandreth Gables *KirkFell Pillar Haycock *Seatallan CatBields GladeHow Buckbarrow Greendale

Anquet stats are 35mi, 16400ft. Allowing for the usual Anquet upping of ascent, that sounds about right.

    * Kirk Fell and Seatallan aren't mentioned in the press reports but I'm guessing they were included.
