    The Ashes 2009

England 435 all out. Not bad at all - the tail definitely wagged this morning

How will the Aussies do now?

The pitch is supposed to be turning so should be a definite advantage to England with them playing two spinners

I'd settle for that. Especially with them having to bat last

    looking a bit optimistic, unforunately

Panesar, much as I like him, is not on top form. Useful as a containing bowler, but Swann can do that. Would've been tempted to go for Onions instead.

Oh dear. My optimism has waned somewhat.

England will always struggle to get 20 wickets. As useless as Harmison is most of the time,he is capable of 5/6-for performances. The rest are simply not besides Flintoff of course. However he can't be overbowled and is not yet fully fit.I'm suprised Hoggard was dropped and forgotten so quickly,he was one of the best swing bowlers we had and always gives 100%.
I think Anderson and Broad are capable but bowl too many free balls an over to be top class at the top level.
Prediction 2-1 Australia for the series.

No,at least one will be a wash out.I also think that the ozzies have a poor attack and England will hold out on another. The England win will come in a low scoring affair i reckon.
