Think it might be a different this Saturday. Looking forward to this, weather looks a bit cooler than of late, still gonna be sweating like a trooper on that climb though.

Spectated as had daughter and friend in the womens race.
Victoria Wilkinson 1st, Jasmin Paris 2nd. Record broken by several minutes - by 20 runners apparently (though I've not seen results).
    Sophie Horrocks 1st U23
We had to leave soon after the Mens winner was in but believe it was Simon Bailey 1st, Finlay Wild 2nd. Record broken by about 3 mins?

A stunning venue, perfect weather, a classic up and down race, profits going to Wasdale MRT and Joss giving out the prizes.

    Fell running at its best.

Really enjoyed yesterday's race, a tough little bugger. Although I was nearer the back of the field I was pleased with my run and really enjoyed it.

Joss Naylor got the race underway as we headed out the field and onto the short road section before making our way up the fell side, steeper than I thought it was gonna be, a long slog up but with great views of surrounding peaks, weather was perfect. Enjoyed the fast descent even though I come down like a fairy compared to others, jelly legs though on the flat run-in.

A great few days away camping finished off with a great little fell race, happy days!
