Hi
Does anyone know of any websites listing mountain races in the French Alps?
Thanks
Eric
I think Feet in the Cowclaps lives in France so he may know. There's a couple of french races listed with this lot...

Eric,
There are a few links on posts in this thread
Let me know if you're looking for something specific.

FITC, sorry about not replying earlier, I've just been reminded about this thread .
I had all the best intentions of getting a race in on the second week, but a combination of too much wine at our first site & my back giving out turning the jockey wheel of my folding camper at our second site kind of wrecked any chances.
Had a great time though & we're already planning next years holiday. Hoping to spend the first half near Limoges & catch some surf on the Vendee for the second half.
Where are you based?

A bit off thread, but if anyone's looking for a 43-mile partly offroad race on 1st/2nd December in France setting off at midnight, there's only one race that fits the bill - the saintélyon! which, as the name suggests, goes from St Etienne to Lyon. There are also 2 or 3 or 4-runner relay races, in which one of the winners last year was a certain British fellrunning champion!
