    mmmmm ... cake!

I have also heard mention of Aran lamb burgers - the thought of them at the finish might keep me going.

Forecast looks like it could be pretty claggy up there but hopefully some of the snow might have gone!

Looking better from a snow point of view, since monday the milder weather has got rid of some of it but not all. As for weather on the day We cant guarantee anything better than our traditional wet, cold welsh climate Should imagine the full route will now be used. 10.6 miles and 3324ft ascent. Not the 10 mile and 2500 as stated.

Don't tell me things like that 10 miles & 2500 ft was scaring me enough already

Our journey ended with Calder Valleys 'Prince'(to quote the fellrunner) or is that princess deciding in bloody Helsby of all places to jack it in so make-up wasnbt ruined and go home to retire to his armchair scoffing biscuits. And to make matters worse the service station that he pulled up in had a Wimpy, he didnt even have the common decency to pull up outside a Burger King.

Good race today in VERY tough conditions. Visibility from mile 2 and back down to mile 8 was near enough zero, still big driffts at the summit which slowed the times down a bit, but the wind chill was cold and a lot suffered. Good though I came 3rd today and took the overall Meirionnydd winter series win by over 8 minutes with 1st in the Rhobell, 2nd in Tarren Hendre and third today. Good turnout today as well considering the conditions, but it was the 1st round of the WFRA NW series.
Think you would of romped it today Tom there was only one in the Juniors race.
