Nice Photos Mark. Even speedier upload than the results, which are now up on the Gloss website here:

Hope you all enjoyed the race, fine weather, chat, refreshments, etc.
I was too busy to chat to folk but I hope to see some of you at the Downfall on Sunday, or even at Glossop parkrun on Saturday.

Very speedy! Some typos you might to fix on the provisional results:-

    27. Andy McMurdo (not McDonald)
    38. Rob Taylor is Pennine (not Penistone)
    72. Dave Bowen (rather than Dane Bower)
    106. Rosie Jones (not Rogie)

Thank you for putting on another great race OB1! We had a few newbies come over for a crack at it and they loved it.

A few more typos - or illegible forms!

would that be Dane Bowers, formerly of late-90s boyband and school disco favourites 'Another Level'?
    Nic Barber. Downhill Dandy

'Joe Barber' Herod Farm - Weds 19th April 7.30pm (registration at Reliance Garage from 6.15pm) - hosted by Glossopdale Harriers
    https://glossopdaleharriers.wordpres...arm-fell-race/

It is the start of the local Peak District mid-week fell races.
Reminds me of one of my favourite Curtis-Elton-Atkinson lines:
"No, never! We must do right by Morag; we must return to Scotland and you must fight her in the old Highland way...bare breasted and each carrying an eight pound baby!"

This year its looks to be Pennine and Buxton vying to send the most runners to this 3mile lung-busting classic.
So it also kind of reminds me of Luvshack (well the bare breasted bit - no 8lb babies allowed yet under the rules).
We also hope Uncle B will be coming along to defend his V70 title (you can keep your vest on though if you prefer, as a bear necessity).

Lots of your favourite stuff - Up - Down - Up - and Down again - and then the reverse of all that with the Cake eating afterwards. With change from a fiver.

    Look forward to seeing you.

A huge thanks to the GDH-army for their help yesterday, Cool runnins. Cool dry conditions on the Nab favoured some fast times including Caity tickling the women's record of 26:34 (from 2007) with her blistering 26:48 and overall winner Matt Elkington 23:21 being the fastest since 2010. Buxton men stealing the team prize from under Pennine's nose, and Buxton ladies getting home ahead of Glossopdale.

Have a fun season. Same again next year on the 3rd Weds in April. Cheers Obi

My 7th Herod Farm and still sub-30 eludes me - it doesn't get any easier, but it's still just as much fun!

Thanks OB1 and team.... see you next year
