Cheers guys. It's stroke and she broke her hip and wrist. She looks well and very alert, but getting frustrated as she can't communicate properly yet (yes, no and a few names is all she can say). But she's a tough old bird, and the determination's there. I'm sure with the physio's and speech therapist's help there'll be progress before long.
Turned out to be just a short run this morning from Berry Head to Sharkham point and back (5.5mi or so). Went for a few drinks with the family last night and in my intoxicated state, didn't set me alarm properly. Some dramatic coastline scenery to be seen before a squall blew in. Me hearties. P-)
Just past Brizzle now and it is hoying it down. Spray on roads, 50-60 at best...it's gonna be a long one. Anyway, finished my muffin. Better get going.
Laters.
