Its giving me 2,708ft. I did stop the watch before we dropped down from the summit to the fresh spring, and forgot to start it again until we'd had our fill of lovely water. But that shouldnt of lost us any climbing?
Might have something to do with recalibrating my watch at the Trig? Maybe it added on the extra 300ft? Need to add another climb to break the magic 3000 barrier!

Note I stopped it when we had some food at FTOP CP1 and didn't restart until FTOP CP2, so lost some distance/climb off the final stats.

    A grand day out!

I'll do exactly the same again this Saturday and use it as a comparison.
Finally got a new mouse and this run on PC. Sporttracks corrects the ascent to 2,667ft. Defo requires another climb.

Will look to pick a date for Pendle Forum meet up later today. Watch this space...

So, I had am extra 2.5days leave to carry over, and I've decided to go on a couple of long runs.

The dates are 30/04 & 01/05 (a Thurs/Fri). Off the top of me head, I'm thinking a FTOP and I might even venture to the Lakes
...do a race or even BG leg recce.

The emphasis for me at this stage will be on enjoying the scenery at a pace that won't kill me, so anyone looking to tag along, know you'll have to be fat & slow...or patient!

So, there you have it...care to join me?

The race itself? Can I pay on the day?

Yes the race itself, and yes, it's EOD. I might be there myself, I need to see how injured I am

Could well be an option. I was hoping to squeeze in a few more leisurely runs to get hills in the legs before contemplating a race, but then again... I'm seriously considering it, thanks!

Right, last minute I know, but I've decided I'm doing this race, and that this evening I'm going to do a recce of CPs 4-8. Setting off from Barley at about 5:30. Any takers?
