Cricket is played by men with small balls.

Rugby is played by men with funny shaped balls.
And basketball players have bouncy balls.

I'd rather watch paint dry or a kettle boil than watch cricket. Cricket's dreadfully dull.
Just a personal opinion though. Wouldn't want you to feel I was picking on you

However, the exciting bits of the summer are when the different leagues announce their compositions for the following season. I am currently (on another forum - for footy people) in discussion with another anorak regarding the East Riding Amateur league line up for this season, name changes, mergers, etc etc - love it !!

FA Cup weekend coming up - local derby, Silsden v Colne.

    Can't wait !
Do the dynamos still play at holt house?

Just after winning the Northern Premier League their owner wound them up - long story, but Holt House was nowhere near Conference standard!

However, a new Colne FC play there now. They are planning to move into a new stadium in the future, but this afternoon they play at Silsden FC (Cougar Park) in the FA Cup (extra preliminary round), and I will be there.

Oh I do love the FA Cup.
