Cross Keys Road and Fell Relay

Its the Saddleworth Runners Cross Keys Road and Fell Relay a week on Saturday the 5th Sept

SAT.SEP 5. CROSS KEYS ROAD AND FELL RELAY (R). 1.00 p.m. 2x3m road plus 2x2.5m fell from the Cross Keys Inn, Uppermill, Saddleworth (GR SE008062). £10 per team of 4 on day. PM. Over 16. Junior teams (U18) need signed consent of parent/guardian. FULL KIT/EQUIPMENT must be brought to event. Kit check at start. Website: saddleworth-runners.co.uk

Each road leg does two laps of a fairly hilly course - Starts at the cross keys pub, goes down past the Church Inn then up towards running hill pits, descends back to the cross keys then round again. Not an official measurment but looking at memory map about 140m of climb over the 3 miles
The fell leg goes from the keys up over Rocher Brow, descends almost to the A635 heads north for a short distance before heading back over the brow to the Keys. Again not an official measurement, but I make it to be about 230m of climb over the 2.5miles

Brilliant event. I was marshalling at the top of the first road on the fell leg.

Anyone up for this? This Sat. Rossy Harriers have about 4 teams, it's a good event based round a pub...
