Johnnie Walker is the best of the lot .unfortunately he just does weekends nowadays. Mark Radcliffe and Stuart McConie do a good evening show.
I just listen to BBC local radio in the morning.

I have to agree about Wogan & Evans, & there are worse on Radio 2 than them too. What about that Bruce bloke? The daytime schedule is all about the presenters, & most of the music is pretty dodgy formulaic stuff - lowest common denominator music.

But... they do have some interesting things on in the evenings sometimes. Is Paul Jones still doing his blues/R&B programme? A lot of quality music on that, although the time it's been on means I don't often catch it. And I try never to miss Sounds of the 60s - 8 to 10 on a Saturday morning. That is a classy programme. Of course you've got to be into 60s music in the first place, but if you are, they dig up all sorts of great obscure stuff to play alongside the hits, and they do this week in week out. Can't get enough myself.

I can just about tolerate Wogan, but the range of music he plays is too diverse. I'm not sure who he's trying to appeal to?

Evans has been better since he had his 'break' and came back on Radio 2 - I quite like his afternoon show, but I'm usually home by 5 these days so tend not to listen.

The stuff on radio 1 this week from Chris Moyles has been a bit laughable. He's making a big deal about being the longest serving radio 1 breakfast show host (5 1/2 years), but he still gets less listeners than Wogan, and Wogan has been at it for 12 years in his first stint, and 16 years in his second stint!

That's what the iPlayer is for.

Best for me is Mark lamarr, am a big rockabilly fan and his Rockn'roll and Friday night shows are great to listen on iplayer to whilst working, never got Reggae though.

Wogan is repetitive and some stuff like Janet and John just isn't funny. The radio 2 message boards are interesting, when Evans replaced walker they were full of abuse, as though someone had said the 3 peaks is a cat b trail race (which it is). But they seem much more pragmatic now and almost welcoming of the fact W is going.
