    Peak district

Has anyone any details of the kinder killer route - trig points/map?

Also out of Dark County Tops/Kinder Dozen/Kinder Killer which is hardest challenge?

4 County Tops is on the gofar website
Kinder Killer is 7 times up/down Kinder on your way round
Kinder Dozen is 12 times up/down Kinder on your way round
there are existing threads for them if you do a search...
you might even discover that I'm on record as saying that I will make an attempt at the Killer in a month's time...
15 Trigs (also on gofar) is worth a look

15 trigs undoubtably the hardest with rough country and a long day out. 15 hour time limit

    Thanks Ian

If there were awards on this website I would nominate you for most helpful poster.

I would also nominate the fell ponies thread as the most boring but lets keep that quiet

    Re: Peak district

I’m looking at doing Kinder Dozen spring next year but in the mean time planning some reccies.
Looking at the map initially I would go clockwise to seal stones and then head back across to Edale
What is the best way of doing this section from seal stones to Edale straight across or carry round more and then across to ringing roger?

    Cheers

    Re: Peak district

novice - presumably you mean crossing the plateau to go straight back from Seal Stones to Edale?
this is exactly what me and nikalas did a while back
we just went east along the edge path to the top of Blackden Brook, then bore south across the narrowest bit of the plateau, which brings you out near the top of Golden Clough

[no doubt IDP will be along in a moment to suggest a Reverse Tanky's! ]

    Where do you live Novice?

As Daz said you could do revesre of tanky's or even go up Golden clough and across the short crossing. Picking up the route at the top of Blackden. When you do you first recce this is the way to get back to Edale.
