    Hello there,

    thinking of doing this, this year. Any info anyone, does it take in the route of the gravy pud to start, how are the climbs.

    Tossing up between this and Windgather so would also apreciate info. I'll be driving from Manchester to Sheffield that morning, and don't know which to do. I assume that this one will be more "fell" and peaty than windgather?

    Actually no - mainly grass and track but don't let that put you off it's's a great route, very runnable and fast. Goes up to Hobson Moor trig point I think then back down to the pub.

    The wife is thinking about having a go at this, how well is the course flagged/marshalled.
