    Donard/Commedagh

I hope those people who are coming over from England/Scotland/Wales for the Donard/Commedagh race this Sat are looking forward to it.

Weather forecasted to be good and clear for the weekend, although it may be chilly!! It always is over here!

Good luck to those who are running

Thanks MM, some of us will be on our way to the lovely Mourne later today, might even manage a run round the course tomorrow..... can't wait, one of the best fell races anywhere!
Just hope a certain person packs his passport!

"Luv Shack would like to thank the athlete in the race who saw his mobile phone, lost on Friday on the mountain, and had time to bring it to the finish."

You're welcome Luv Shack. Good job I was taking my time. It was on the open fell a couple of minutes before entering the forest on the way back.

I wouldn't class myself as an "athlete" on that performance (also my time was actually 1m 14s SLOWER than that shown in the results).

    Many Thanks Pike!!!

Very much appreciated, your find will make Monday morning (back at work, that is!), a much easier prospect.....

I owe you more than a few pints!

Remind me at the Duddon, or elsewhere, and I will happily by you a few scoops..

As ever Donard Commedagh was truly fantastic.... the whole weekend is a special treat, one of the best race courses around, pre&post race Craic to die for.... with outfits to suit!?

Well done to those who made the effort and those who triumphed, and a very special thanks to those who make it all possible... there were a good number of tired & very happy faces today, who are bound to be back to the Mourne for moor of the magic....

Luv Shack - I'd die if seen in one your outfits.

Great weekend, good, well-organised race. Congrats to all.

It was a good weekend (albeit a bit short for me). Got a lift on the way - thanks Andrew. And the bus back on Saturday - worked out very well. Shame the plane was delayed 2 hours! Could have stayed and had a few bevvies. And as for the race, yes it was good. My legs don't feel like it was good though at the moment - they're still in bulk!!!
