Peel Easter Fell race
I'd recommend anything on Kinder (sorry, local bias) inc K. Trog and K. Trial but more specifically, here's some Lakes and Pennine ones I've enjoyed recently...
v. long:
Fellsman (61 miles) - nice hills, great food, lovely people.
Old Counties Tops (37 miles) - it's like a "best of" of the Lakes with cake stops to boot! A race on a stupendous scale.
long:
Tanky's Trog (21 miles-ish) - where weather and route combine for a "perfect storm"
medium:
Noonstone - what a lot of up and down in such a short race
Coniston - a Godsend for the aggressive descender.
short / v. short:
Eccles Pike (3.5 mi) / Lantern Pike Dash (1.1 mi) - up and down the hill. Fast and furious. Job done.

Outside of the Lakes:
[only ever done one race in Scotland and none in Wales ]
1. Edale Skyline (4th one this year)
2. Wadsworth Trog (this year in the snow was stunning)
3. Midgley Moor (shame that it usually clashes with Edale)
4. Whernside (first time this year)
5. Stoodley Pike.
If we're including the Lakes then I'd replace 4 and 5 with:
Wasdale and Anniversary Waltz.
Cheers.

Very hard to answer because every race has a little something to offer...well, alright then, Titterstone Clee has nowt but then I would quibble to call it a fell race! But here goes, my faves from 22 years of racing.
Ben Nevis
Borrowdale
Moel Elio
Pen Y fan
Long Mynd
But special mention to 3 Peaks Yacht race and Scottish Islands Peaks Race...both completely brilliant.
Simon Blease
Monmouth
Noon Stone
Haworth Hobble
Duddon Valley
Anni Waltz
Borrowdale
Hills and Guinness!
Enjoyed all the others as well
Hills and Guinness!
pleased to see a few mentions for Shutlingsloe and also one for Rivi Pike - both nearly made my shortlist
I notice a load of mentions for Borrowdale, and a few for Wasdale and Ennerdale, but only a couple of votes for Duddon - is there a reason for this? not a poor relation surely?
I would SO like to have a crack at Old Counties Tops, but doubt I'd be able to find a partner willing to risk missing the cut-offs with me
