Tough to narrow it down to five, but i find myself returning to Borrowdale, the KIMM/OMM (long score) and the Three Peaks year on year. The LDMT is something i'd hate to not do again and finally, the much much underrated Blencathra - as stunning an evening race as you'll ever find.
LOVED Peris Horseshoe (long) which i just did for the first time so that probably may well feature one day....
The Mountain Trail is fantastic you've got to at least try it once.
Ennerdale I would rate this over Wasdale anyday
Borrowdale is a classic.
Scafell Pike is very underrated, I can never understand why it doesn't get the massive enteries of Snowdon or the Ben.
Anni Waltz great route and the best cakes of any race
Bill
The Tavern (to be renamed Lletty Farm next year I understand)
Anniversary Waltz
Windgather
Peak Forest
Kinder Trial
The Manx Mountain Marathon deserves a mention.
Three Peaks was very good
and i will be returning to Borrowdale next year to complete un finished business!
