The scan wasn't as horrendous as I thought it would be, and the most scary thing that was suggested might've gone wrong has been ruled out, thankfully. Will post again when I've been to see the consultant to get the results.

Brilliant news Stef. Not commented on this thread before but I have wished you well quite often, having gone through minor procedures myself in the past I know what you've been going through. getting to the 'it's just a minor procedure' is hard and really tough. here's to wishing you a quick next stage and moving forwards

Had my check up 3 months back & all good here still. First one since I lost my friend 2 years ago, so this time I really thought very deeply about it. I felt such relief
