Central heating

Severely tempted to put mine on this morning but resisted temptation so far! Going out cycling later and think heating might be going on this evening

I'm loathe to put the heating on this early in the year as I simply don't want to give cash to the money grabbing energy companies. Why do I have to pay more just because I want to pay quarterly for what I've used rather than getting fleeced for paying monthly in advance for what I might use??

Mine has been on the last couple of days... just to take the chill off things in the morning, then again in the evening after which the woodbruning stove takes over, keeping the chapel at a nice temperature the rest of the evening... And... the wood I burn is FREE

So far I had resisted, wearing a fleece jacket and/or duver gilet in the house, but when the temperature had dropped to 15 centigrade in the morning, that was it, got to have heat!!!
