A wee dram of Benromack 10yr Organic last night.
And just one glass of Benromack 10yr single malt tonight.

Now the single malt will definitely be on my Christmas list and hopefully duty free as well🥃

Glad to see this thread resurrected! I've been drinking way too much malt recently. The best being a 21 y.o Speyside from M & S that was priced wrongly at £24 instead of £70! Incredible stuff.

Scapa Glansa arrived this morning as a birthday present from Mrs S. Looking forward to sampling that this evening. I liked the Scapa Skiren very much but this promises a more peaty note hopefully more akin to its Orcadian neighbour, Highland Park which is my favourite supermarket tipple.

Highland Park is a steal when on offer at £25 in supermarkets. A beautiful dram Pete!

Added water to whisky for the first time the other day. Aberlour A'Bunadh. An absolute monster at 60.8%. Not sure whether I preferred it with or without to be honest.

I prefer mine in a Thelonius Monk style. Straight, no chaser.

Scapa glansa was jolly good. Floral, honey like the Skiren but with a darker, smokier undertone. Not overtly peaty - just a subtle hint of smoke. Rather lovely.
    Perhaps another before bed......
