Have you tasted the new single malt "Infamous Grouse"? Distilled by gamekeepers on our upland "Hen Harrier persecuted" moors.

Some of you will be glad to know the grouse shoot on the Belmont side of Winterhill (bttm of ramp)is doing really well since The fell races have been abandoned....No sign of the pair of Hen Harriers i was watching with delight for some time..they seem to have disappeared

    Tonight is Jura Origin.

It's an unusual Xmas this year. I usually end up with a few bottles and an odd one that I haven't had before, but I've got Glenfiddich, Glemmorangie, Glenlivet and the Jura.
I also have a new on on me called Glen Moray - it's not bad but not wuite up to the standard of the others.

The most interesting one I have had though is a Bourbon - Bulleit - quite a nice one which I prefer to a JD.

I must re-enforce my preference for Highland Park - the 15 year old version

No-one seems to listen to my whiskey requests!! Ended up with one bottle Original Glenmorangie. Its fine, I like it, easy to drink. But I would have prefered the port cask version which I've been requesting now for 2 years! Ho hum....
