Perhaps along the lines of the Old Crown Round where there was a tot of beer on each summit - five beers and five summits...

60 - 70 summits is probably too much(!) so maybe a shot at each mile marker would make a very interesting ultra!!!

My mate told me I had finished off a 900:00 bottle. I didn't believe him, but the power of t'interweb confirmed it.

I had about 100:00 worth. Off to bed to cultivate an expensive hangover.

Anybody tried Ardbeg Uigeadail , the finest modern day single malt scotch whisky, its fantastic, except for the 50 pound price tag.

Sorry for getting it wrong Mike, but these guys were selling it at 875:00, not 899:00. So perhaps I didn't quite have 100:00 worth.

..... but were people actually buying it at that price? - I am not fussed about the odd but am interested in the difference between asking price and what people actually pay.

Who knows who bought it? All I know is that it is the most expensive Malt I have ever been privilaged to quaff and it was great. Good luck finding out who bought it.
