Mystery Jogle runner (June 09)

Whilst my wife and I were walking the West Highland Way this June we passed a runner heading south (on the 17th) between Milngavie & Drymen.

He was carrying rucksack with a tent and sleeping back and said he was running from John O Groats to Lands End.

Does anyone have any idea who he was or how he fared?

I think this is the guy I met while out running with Settle Harriers in the summer - he was running down the pennine way into Horton as we ran past and chatted with him. So.... he definitely got as far as the Dales.
