European Races

I've a mates wedding at lake Garda, Italy, next June so I'd like to race each weekend surrounding the wedding.

The wedding is Tuesday 1st June, are races usually the same weekend every year over there? If so any recomendations for last weekend of May and first weekend of June?

Any websites/calendars of races to look at?

Don't mind travelling around the alps. We'll fly and hire a car.

just checked out 12th sudtirol drei zinnen alpin lauf italy

Personal clothing was carried by helicopter to the finish, and many helping hands sorted the bags according to the start numbers, so that all finishers could change clothes quickly.

Participants indulged in the finisher buffet for hours. The wide selection of delicious cakes was most popular, followed by fruit, yoghurt and mixed nuts.

do you think we could sort this for tanky's?????

Hi I know the area well I've been there hundreds of time my Mum is from Arco and lives in Riva del Garda.

It will be difficult to find races unless you can search in Italian language. I'll have a look and let you know. There is much mountain running there, but that area is probably best for MTB, give it a thought.

Yes, the Drei Zinnen, Tre Cime, probably beats most races in term of beauty.
