    Very miserable here at the moment, I hope that the wind drops for the morning. You might need a windproof in some parts.

    I'm not running because the kids want to race tomorrow (Malham relays) but if I were good trail shoes would be ideal, but fell shoes wouldn't be out of place. Very unlikely to get lost.

    The last few are of the NW air ambulance that was called to evacuate a runner who had a suspected broken ankle. The paramedics in the end thought it was just a bad sprain.

    More a case of knowing the ground I'd a couple of locations in mind but that one was better (and in the sun!). Apologies to anyone who was surprised by the flash unit by the side of the track but I was trying a new (to me) technique which mostly I got right by the look of things - Lee got a bit close though

    I only heard it beep, didnt notice it flash, they look very impressive with the remote flash unit setup. Nice one, cheers.
