Why would anybody pay money to run on tarmac? Surely that's what cars are for.

I was thinking about Wilmslow too, as it's my local half, but £27...?

I'm now thinking Baildon Boundary on the same day for £14

We were going to do the local Santa Dash 5K as a family. But then we found out it was £12.50 for an adult and £7.50 for a child and there is also a minimum sponsorship of £30 for each runner. That would total £292.50 for the 7 of us

Ridiculous. Best part of 30 squid to have your joints battered on the adventurous asphalt.

No wonder many people think distance runners are mad

Hey all does anyone have a place they don't want or know anyone that has a spare place for the Wilmslow Half Marathon?

    Warm regards
