    Midsummer Madness

There are 27 of us coming up for our annual Timothy Taylors transfusion, Calder Valley's excellent Midsummer Madness on 22 23 24 June. I've tried all our usual haunts and all the places on the FRA relay sheets from last year but they are all booked.

Anybody know of any other accommodation. We can always sleep in the Hare & Hounds car park I suppose.

It'll be good to see you all there!

Have you not managed to get in at the Hare & Hounds? Are the Leicester Owls roosting there?

There's camping at Jerusalem Farm, but it would be an awkward stagger back over the moors in the dark after the night out at the H&H!

But as it happens... we are currently doing up part of our farmhouse / converted barn to advertise for self-catering holiday-let. We hope to have it ready by June, even if we haven't got round to advertising it by then (Brett has kindly offered to host a website for us). You're welcome to be our first customers!

We'll advertise it for 4-6 people - there are 6 beds but if couples want any privacy it'd have to sleep 4 only.
Now if you wanted to use it for more people - if folk wanted to sleep in sleeping bags on the floor or sofas or whatever, that'd be OK with us.
We haven't worked out what we need to charge for self-catering yet, but it won't be extortionate.

    Cheers, Bill

Do it Invisible... Bill's place is fantastic with views over Luddenden and Castle Carr. It's gotta be/going to the best place to stay in Calderdale.
And from your point of view Bill, if invisible's staying it'll be almost like he's not there
