I couldn't see how to add a poll to the 10,000th Post thread, but I know Amex was able to add one to the XOTF thread after it started?

there'll be more 10,000th posts coming up soon enough and 'forum elder' doesn't realy apply to someone (not just Merry ) who has talked waffle for a short space of time to gain the post limit whereas peeps on here have survived forums mark 1, 2 and now 3 and really 'earned' the forum 'elder' status. IMHO

Am I missing something here or can he just change it himself? You have the ability to change what it says under your username after 1000 posts right?
