If it's very hard and dry, might road shoes be better?
i am doing it with the wife, her first proper fell race!
we are looking forward to it, as i have done a few of davids race this winter, very well organised.
i planning to wear my walsh pbs n shes got a pair of montrail ladies fell shoes
I am going to have a look see in the morning ,paticularly at the first climb .
Think it will be my Mountain bear fell shoes.
I have glass ankles and anything with height in the heels wories me .
Yes anything with abit of padding would be to the good, but there are a few tricky sections which might turn an ankle or two so no high heels.
Ankles and feet were sore after the recce. The descents of little roseberry and roseberry are softish being fern mulch.
