Ashwin's excellent performance with the bat for India means we need another day to finish it or hopefully part of a day. Well done England though today

Well we 'staggered' across the line but good to see Bell score the winning runs. Interesting that's he's never shown any real test form in India.

When does he show test form?

He must have gone to the right school.

Test batting average of over 46 (65+ for 2010-11) with a highest score of 235 and 16 centuries in total shows he's done something right though to be fair 2012 form hasn't been particularly good.

Well done England and I am glad Bell got those winning runs. Apart from his run out of Pujara in the second innings it hasn't been much of a series for him.

92% of his runs have come against Bangladesh.

It might not have been 92% but it was definitely some percentage.

But even having said that, I wouldn't drop him.

A bit of a shaky start in England's first innings. Steady the buffs!

Bell out for 1 sooner he gets the axe the better.
He must be one hell of a crawler.

Got to agree with you Stagger. Despite the fact that in the last test match he held his nerve, in general I think he is not the man if England are in a sticky situation. If it's 300-3 he'll probably score a hundred but I knew that as soon as Trott was out this morning and things were looking a bit dicey, Bell wouldn't hang around for long.

Will the young Yorkshire lad Joe Root save our bacon in this innings. He has made a good start England 133-4 at tea.
