Nice score for Cooky, give him a warm fuzzy feeling finally turning a high score in.

    Windies following on.
Don't think they will reach England's score with both their innings added together.

An innings and over 200 runs and in under 3 days.

It's a shame because I remember some good Windies team's.

Nice one. You can say you were there when it all happened. Records tumbling.

What an amazing match! I really hope that this loss doesn't cause Root to play it safe in future when it comes to declaring.

True, but I disagreed with the commentary who thought it was a good total to defend. The WI first innings and a decent second innings by England showed it was a batting pitch. I think another 40-50 could have made WI reach a little harder for a win and caused them to make mistakes. But clearly what do I know.

Most important thing is that it was a good match and nice to see WI produce a good performance with all the issues they have.

A great result for Essex from an unlikely position following their first innings total. A big step forward to achieving Div 1 champions in their first season after promotion. The next match is important though.

Had a smile to see Middlesex go down today.

Wonder what the prawn sandwich brigade think.
