Blog update - its running Jim but not as we know it

Brian, yet another great write up! Brings back all the peaks, troughs, tussocks, bog and the emotion of the day. Sounds like you had a tough one.

Also good to see Adnan at breakfast!

To all who run this event - yet another fantastic year, simply brilliant.

well done Chris and Stolly - impressive stuff and makes me really want to do it!

And equally strange was that the FM was indeed the toughest thing I've ever done by some margin, but I want to do it again...what's all that about???

Good blog Stolly. It was good to keep seeing you and knowing that I was still not lost and we both shared the long painful drag up to the Blea Moor from Dent and to the Stonehouse

Kev it was nice seeing you too. I saw you briefly at Whernside too. You looked as if you were on a mission. Hope you had a good run.

Btw Stefan - if you and paul need any BG support I'd be happy to help.

Here's the link to the photos I took over the weekend. (If you're not on facebook you might not have seen them.)

Whenever I think back to the event I cannot imagine how it can feel so tough, yet it always does at the time. Everyone I spoke to afterwards said the same. I know why they call it a Hike; that's what I was doing for most of the time.

Well done Martin, good to see that you're still at it. Some years now since that naive young lad turned up at registration for the Hodder Valley Show.
As for advice? Just pace yourself!
